As the Nigerian author and poet Bayo Akomolafe reminds us, our responses to the meta-crisis are also perpetuating the crisis. This is partly because we are operating from conditioned states, principles and values that have created the current context. Part of TRC’s work is to challenge the assumptions at the heart of the dominant culture of late-stage capitalism, and it’s offspring, philanthropy. To that end, we publish ideas and musings on the coming transition and the necessity of changing the philanthropic sector’s contribution to these troubled times.

In the last year, TRC focused on launching the Post Capitalist Philanthropy: Healing Wealth in TIme of Collapse book and spreading many of the content lines articulated in the book.
